    Automotive specifications & special standards for bolts with zinc flake coatings

    Corrosion protection for bolts is a specific topic, which is defined in different standards. Especially the German automotive industry defines its demands in specifications – most of them usually discussed in Germany but with worldwide relevance.

    What can you expect?

    Specifications often have a convoluted structure and are not always easy to understand. We explain abbreviations for surfaces and references to standards and test methods in an application-oriented manner.

    Especially for people who (soon) work with standards and specifications of the automotive industry, we will use examples to describe the implementation of customer requirements. Questions & discussion are welcome!
