From June 23 to 25, DÖRKEN was present in Ho Chi Minh City as an exhibitor for functional surfaces at the Automechanika. Once again, DÖRKEN was part of a German booth and was one of the 464 exhibitors who attracted visitors from India, China, Europe and Korea.

The fair could register about 12,000 visitors in total at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in 799 Nguyen Van Linh, Dist 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This year's Automechanika was once again a good platform for presenting the portfolio of functional surfaces to a large circle of expert visitors.

Vietnam as an event location shows itself with an up-and-coming economy, which generates growth especially in the metal industry. This also increases the interest and demand for corrosion protection systems. The experts from DÖRKEN addressed the questions of the interested visitors during the three days and identified possible solutions in an exchange.

"We hear more and more interest in our innovative high-performance systems in corrosion protection in Vietnam and see a tendency increase in the supply chain from Vietnam with large international distributors and also users in Vietnam. The exhibition was partly attended by experts and confirmed our expectations to get to know the market in Vietnam. After two very successful first years with our licensee in Hanoi, we want to continue here. Our goal is to also be able to become active in the catchment area around Ho Chi Minh City through a user in the short term."
