    21.06.2024 Coating solutions of tomorrow

    Discovering the future of sustainable coating solutions - that was the goal of Biobased Coatings Europe 2024. Many people from the world of the biobased materials and coatings industry came together at the conference in Valencia. The aim was to exchange ideas about environmentally friendly and future-proof products and services along the entire value chain.

    Key topics at the event included the market overview and trends, current directives and regulations of the European Union, as well as new technologies, opportunities and challenges.

    Part of the event: DÖRKEN, which presented the new preservative-free DÖRKEN® ECOLOGICAL range of pastes. Christopher Jahn, Director Strategic Product Management Architectural Coatings, and Guido Strauch, Sales Director Tinting Solutions, had many good conversations at the DÖRKEN stand about sustainable, compatible and high-quality innovations in the field of pigment pastes. Information on other solutions as semi-finished goods was also in demand on site.

    "We got a lot of interesting input from Valencia," says Strauch. "Not only through the conversations at our stand, but also through the other companies' presentations and the lecture program." "We addressed important current issues with our preservative-free paste range: Sustainability, compatibility and quality," Jahn added. "At Biobased Coatings Europe 2024, we saw that we are already doing a lot of things right. But we are of course constantly working on bringing future-proof solutions to the market."
