The Surface Technology is an international trade fair for surface technology, offering product innovations, solutions and a forum for networking. The focus of the Surface Technology this year is upon climate and environmentally friendly processes, resource efficiency and sustainability. In keeping with this, DÖRKEN is presenting its effective corrosion protection solutions for components from a range of different sectors. Here visitors can obtain information on aspects such as wheel bolts and wheel bearings. In addition, various usage cases of zinc flake topcoats will be illustrated, some of which are combined with a basecoat other than a zinc flake basecoat. In this, both classic annealing systems and room temperature curing zinc flake systems are explained.

From practice to theory

In keeping with the spirit of the Surface Technology, DÖRKEN has also come up with something new. “This year, we are delighted to be using the stand as a platform and stage for keynote speeches,” says Christos Tselebidis, Vice President Sales Industrial Coatings. “Our expert Florian Feldmann will speak about his knowledge of the subject ‘evolution of the corrosion test’ as well as the issue of ‘galvanic corrosion’.” The interesting paper on the various types of corrosion test procedures in use can be heard at around 2.30 pm on 21 and 22 June, the keynote on contact corrosion at 11.00 am on 22 and 23 June.
