08.04.2025 ECS 2025: Successful appearance under a new name

In March, a colorful world opened up again for visitors to Messe Nürnberg: The European Coatings Show, the world's leading trade fair for the international coatings and paints industry, made a stop in southern Germany.

It once again proved its importance as a key meeting place for the industry. Innovation leaders from all over the world presented their latest developments here. Over 25,000 experts gathered information from more than 1,200 exhibitors from 46 countries.

For the first time, DÖRKEN appeared at the trade fair under the new name “Colorants & Components” and welcomed numerous visitors to its booth in Hall 3C. This year, the focus was on innovative, preservative-free pastes and DSP semi-finished products for the manufacture of preservative-free products. Intensive discussions were held with existing partners and new interested parties on all three days of the trade fair.

“The event was extremely well attended and the countless people at our stand were very curious about the innovations we brought with us,” says Guido Strauch, Sales Director of DÖRKEN Colorants & Components. “The positive feedback from the discussions underlines our position as a pioneer in the industry. We are delighted with the trust placed in us and the exciting discussions we were able to hold.”

Despite the current economic challenges, the industry is looking to the future with confidence and hopes for a positive development in 2026. The next European Coatings Show will take place from 20 to 22 April 2027 at Messe Nürnberg.
