Advantages

  • Permanent safety under solar thermal and photovoltaic systems
Optimum sarking and sheathing membrane for use under solar panels. Open to diffusion and resistant to high temperatures (up to + 150 °C).
  • Very high UV resistance
The membrane is highly UV-stabilized thanks to its special acrylate coating. It can therefore be exposed to solar radiation for up to 52 weeks without any material damage being expected (test based on EN 13859-2 over 5,000 h QUV + 90d at 120°C).
  • Flame resistant
DELTA®-EXXTREM meets the requirements of Euro fire class B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1).
  • Open to diffusion
With an Sd value of approx. 0.05 m, the pitched roof membrane is highly vapor-permeable.
  • Windproof
The integrated self-adhesive edges enable direct bonding of the overlap and reliably prevent cold air and moisture from penetrating the insulation. The self-adhesive edge also makes overlap bonding easier, even in unfavorable weather conditions.

Application

  • As an additional measure especially under solar modules (in germany)
When used as an additional measure of classes 2(1), 3, 4 and 5 for in-roof solar thermal and photovoltaic systems(2), the following must be observed:
    (1) An “individual contractual agreement” must be concluded between the contractor and the client regarding execution as a Class 2 roof.
    (2) In principle, suitable, adequate, rainproof elements that comply with technical regulations and / or standards should be used for solar installations that replace the covering materials over a large area (in-roof solar installations and solar roofs). The rain safety (information on minimum and standard roof pitch) must be specified or verified by the manufacturer of the solar elements (e.g. test in accordance with DIN EN 15601:2007-01 or comparable).
  • Construction time protection for exterior walls
Ideally suited as temporary weather protection for exterior walls.
