The robust and extremely long-lasting sarking and sheathing membrane effortlessly withstands even the most extreme weather conditions. It is highly resistant to ageing and retains its high level of performance even after years of use.
DELTA®-FOXX PLUS enables the creation of a rain-proof sub-roof in accordance with roofing regulations*. In addition, the outstanding properties of the membrane material makes it ideally suited for use as base layer and dividing layer beneath slate or metal coverings.
New from 01/01/2023
Equipped with DELTA®-AMS and DELTA®-BiCo technologies.
DELTA®-FOXX (PLUS) was specially developed to meet the high requirements of being laid on wooden sheathing. Laying directly onto thermal insulation or as lining is also possible without any problems. In addition, the membrane is also suitable for use as temporary roofing and as a base layer under metal roof coverings, fibre cement panels or slate.
Rainproof sub-roof *
DELTA®-FOXX (PLUS) enables the creation of a rain-proof sub-roof in combination with the DELTA® system components (DELTA®-SCHAUM-BAND, DELTA®-FLEXX-BAND and DELTA®-THAN). The breathable solution with DELTA®-FOXX has already proved its worth in over 25 years of practical use, however, it deviates from the diffusion-restricting solution described in the ZVDH regulations. Reference is made to this in the offer.
Base layer and dividing layer beneath slate or metal coverings
In combination with the DELTA® system components DELTA®-FOXX PLUS can be used as a dividing layer and a base layer beneath metal roof coverings – also with low roof inclines from 3°. In combination with DELTA®-ENKA VENT it can also be used to create a structured dividing layer. Beneath slate the membrane offers a secure base layer, as the wooden sheathing can dry faster due to the low Sd value of 0.02 m. In addition, the practical roll dimensions means that DELTA®-FOXX PLUS offers significant laying advantages compared to classic bituminous base layers: wider, longer, faster! The sheeting can be laid from the ridge to the eaves.
More information on laying can be found in our laying instructions for sarking, underlay and sheathing sheeting as well as in the laying instructions for dividing layers and base layers.
* An “individual contractual agreement” is to be concluded between contractor and customer for the creation of a rain-proof sub-roof.
