Primer specially designed for low temperatures for the product DELTA®-THENE. It enables a safe processing down to -5 °C.
Cold liquid, solvent-based, and red coloured.
Fast setting, closes pores and binds dust.
Also suitable as a primer for soft wood fibre boards outdoors for DELTA®-THENE as a base seal.
The substrate which must be coated must be free of ice, dust, formwork oil, grease, tar, pitch, old paint, loose components, and other constituents interfering with the adhesion process. Damp substrates must be sealed off by means of a sealing slurry.
Stir the product thoroughly before use. DELTA®-THENE KÄLTEGRUNDANSTRICH is ready to use and can be applied to the dry, stable surface by painting (roller, brush, or scrubber) or spraying.
After it has set, the surface of DELTA®-THENE KÄLTEGRUNDANSTRICH will be slightly sticky. If you have any doubt, you carry out an adhesive test.
After the DELTA®-THENE KÄLTEGRUNDANSTRICH has dried, DELTA®-THENE can be processed as usual. Only the overlapping areas should be warmed up a bit, preferably with a suitable hot air blower, to improve the adhesive strength of the adhesive layer of the bitumen rubber.
