Bolt connections & coefficient of friction for application engineers/consultants

The task of bolts is to connect two or more components in a force-fit manner. However, in order to guarantee a secure screw connection, knowledge about preload force and tightening torque as well as about friction coefficients is elementary. With the deliberately small group size, there is always time for your individual questions. Practical work on the bolt test bench is also part of the seminar.

What can you expect?

The aim of this seminar is to impart basic knowledge about bolted joints and the determination of friction coefficients - especially for people who provide technical advice on selecting the right coating for fasteners or who work or will soon be working in application technology.

  • Various surfaces and friction coefficients
  • Design of bolted joints, demolition VDI 2230
  • ISO 2320, clamping nuts
  • DIN 267 T27, adhesive coatings
  • Multiple tightening, VW 01131, MBN 10544, wheel bolts
  • Hot loosening
