Flame spray­ing

Flame spraying is one of the thermal coating processes. This allows materials such as metals, ceramics or plastics to be sprayed onto the surface of a component. Since only the material is melted and thrown onto the component surface to be coated, a low thermal load of the substrate takes place. Depending on the technology used, the materials can be in the form of powder, wire or rods. Areas of application include corrosion protection and wear protection coatings.
